The Dream ST is engineered for recreational use rather than the commercial air-taxi market. It features a compact, seated configuration with performance metrics currently capped at 43 mph and a flight endurance of 20 to 30 minutes. These specifications remain subject to adjustment as the development phase continues. The company aims to align the vehicle with the FAA Part 103 ultralight definition, though final regulatory status depends on the production configuration.
CoolFly Debuts Dream ST Personal eVTOL at EAA AirVenture
At Wittman Regional Airport, the hum of traditional piston engines is sharing space with a new vision for individual flight. CoolFly has brought its Dream ST, a single-seat electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, to the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026, marking the company’s first public appearance at the major aviation gathering.

Beyond the Dream ST, CoolFly is showcasing its design philosophy through the Urban, a standing-position aircraft that utilizes weight-shift sensing controls. Both models rely on the proprietary NA80 flight-control system, which employs dual redundant units and six aviation-grade inertial measurement units to ensure rapid fault detection. Alex Chen, Brand Marketing Lead at CoolFly, indicated that the presence at Booth V13 serves as a platform to engage with potential U.S. distributors, training partners, and service providers. The company intends to follow this week-long exhibition with a broader reveal of its technical roadmap and product lineup on August 10.
