Since 2017, the Navajo Transitional Energy Company has funneled over $1.1 million into the academic futures of Navajo students. This milestone marks the support of more than 1,000 scholars, many of whom are now returning to their communities to fill critical roles in engineering, healthcare, and tribal administration.
Evidence of the program's success is visible across the Navajo Nation, where former recipients are now employed by local school districts, the Indian Health Service, and NTEC itself. Beyond direct aid, the company addresses logistical barriers by funding room and board for students at San Juan College and maintaining partnerships with institutions like Dine College and Navajo Technical University. These initiatives are part of a broader economic footprint, which includes over $1.7 million in community contributions made during 2025 alone.
