Chicken Salad Chick Expands North Carolina Footprint to Durham
The first 100 guests at the new Chicken Salad Chick in Durham will walk away with a year’s supply of chicken salad on August 4. Located at 6807 Fayetteville Road, the opening marks the third North Carolina location for franchise partners Mike Saccone and John Schuster.
Saccone and Schuster, who previously managed restaurant partnerships at The Coca-Cola Company, are leveraging their 55 years of combined experience to anchor the brand in the Triangle. The duo, who already operate sites in Cary and Raleigh, have appointed Kate Overpeck to lead the Durham team. Beyond the commercial rollout, the restaurant is hosting a pre-opening event to raise funds for Duke Children’s Hospital, aligning with the national chain's CSC Foundation mission to support pediatric healthcare and local food banks.
