Under a new agreement finalized at the Farnborough Airshow, Aviation Capital Group will supply six Boeing 737-10 aircraft to Argentina’s flag carrier. The deal marks a significant expansion for the airline, which plans to deploy the high-capacity jets across its domestic and regional network starting in 2028.
For Aviation Capital Group, the agreement reinforces its position as the primary lessor for the 737-10, with delivery slots secured through 2033. CEO Thomas Baker noted that the deal aligns with the firm’s strategy of investing in high-demand, fuel-efficient technology. Aerolíneas Argentinas CEO Fabián Lombardo emphasized that the move is essential for maintaining a competitive edge as the carrier works to optimize its routes across South America.
