CEO Joe Lin signaled the company's shift toward the open market during a technology showcase in Wuxi, emphasizing that years of perfecting systems for major brands have paved the way for its public debut. InfiMotion currently maintains a workforce of over 1,000 engineers, including a significant Swedish contingent, who utilize cloud-based collaboration to harmonize performance across diverse climates, from Nordic winters to Southeast Asian heat.

Technical milestones define the company’s recent trajectory, most notably the 2024 launch of the world’s first 11-in-1 domain-controlled electric drive unit. By 2025, InfiMotion had pushed into high-performance territory with the release of a 900V magnesium-alloy coaxial unit capable of delivering 5,200 Nm of torque. These components are backed by rigorous validation, including ASPICE Level 3 processes and ASIL-D certification, with testing facilities capable of simulating conditions up to 30,000 rpm.

Production scale matches this technical ambition, with 95% automation across five Chinese manufacturing bases. Precision is maintained through AI-driven inspection systems that identify defects at the 20-micron level. As of the first half of 2026, the company ranks among China’s top three suppliers for both motor and inverter shipments, currently supplying major automotive groups including Geely, Volvo, and JLR.
