Plano-based managed technology firm GuideIT has entered a definitive agreement to be acquired by Focus, a move designed to bolster service capabilities while maintaining existing client relationships. Upon completion of the deal, the company will operate as GuideIT, A Focus Company, leveraging expanded resources to support its healthcare-focused portfolio.
For Focus, the acquisition represents a strategic alignment of values and technical expertise. Founder and CEO Bruce Schaumberg identified GuideIT’s deep client relationships as a primary driver for the deal, viewing the integration as a way to solidify a broader platform for healthcare technology services.
