Millions of underserved consumers across nine emerging markets are building credit for the first time through PayJoy, a milestone that earned the firm a place on the 2026 World’s Top Fintech Companies list. CNBC and Statista recognized the provider for its role in expanding bank-independent lending solutions globally.

Since its inception, the company has deployed its secured-credit technology to provide more than $3.5 billion in loans to over 20 million people. CEO and Co-Founder Doug Ricket noted that the recognition validates the firm’s impact on financial inclusion in countries including Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, and the Philippines.
