Following pressure from its Oversight Board to address the rise of deceptive generative media, Meta has launched Content Seal, an internal watermarking system for its AI-generated imagery. Meta already maintains a seat on the steering committee for the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity, signaling a commitment to open standards.
