The expansion introduces Moneta Global Wealth, Ltd. to the UK market, positioning the firm to navigate the complexities of international tax laws, currency fluctuations, and regulatory requirements. By leveraging Thomson Tyndall’s established local presence—which dates back to the 1960s—Moneta aims to offer a hybrid service model that combines boutique-style personalization with the infrastructure of a large-scale fiduciary advisor.
Moneta Expands to London Through Thomson Tyndall Partnership
St. Louis-based Moneta, an investment advisory firm managing over $50 billion, is launching its international operations in the United Kingdom. The move targets the growing demand from U.S. expatriates and international family offices for integrated, cross-border financial planning and tax coordination through a new strategic partnership with London-based firm Thomson Tyndall.

Jamie Fergusson, CEO of Thomson Tyndall, noted that internationally mobile clients, particularly U.S. citizens residing abroad, are frequently underserved by fragmented financial service providers. The collaboration intends to bridge this gap by aligning Moneta’s U.S. wealth management expertise with UK-specific investment and planning capabilities. For Moneta, this marks a significant step in its growth trajectory, following a decade of rapid expansion that saw the firm’s assets under management climb from $14.5 billion in 2015 to current levels exceeding $50 billion. The firm maintains its fee-only, partner-owned structure as it establishes its first dedicated international footprint.
