Acting CEO Jonas Dahlberg, who stepped into the role following the departure of Laurinda Pang, highlighted the Americas region as the primary driver behind the quarter’s success. The region, which accounts for 66 percent of the company’s gross profit, saw a 10 percent organic gross profit growth fueled by demand for API platforms and efficiencies in US network voice operations. Dahlberg pointed to the rise of AI-driven demand among US technology firms as a critical tailwind for the firm's communications infrastructure.
Sinch Reports Q2 Revenue Gains as Americas Power Growth
Sinch AB posted a 6 percent organic revenue increase for the second quarter of 2026, reaching SEK 6,866 million. The Stockholm-based communications firm credited the surge to its performance in the Americas, even as the company navigates a leadership transition and uneven results across its Asian and European markets.

While the Americas thrived, the company faced stagnation in other regions. Combined organic revenue growth in APAC and EMEA was effectively flat, with APAC struggling against temporary headwinds and operational hurdles in India. Despite these regional disparities, Sinch maintained its industry standing, securing a leader position in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Communications Platform as a Service for the fourth year running. Alongside these financial results, the firm moved to streamline its capital structure, with shareholders approving the cancellation of over 55 million shares, representing 7.2 percent of the company's issued stock.
