Danaher Beats Q2 Expectations, Lifts Full-Year Earnings Forecast

Danaher Corporation reported a strong second quarter for 2026, with net earnings climbing 60% to $870 million. Driven by robust performance in its Life Sciences segment and the accelerated integration of the Masimo acquisition, the company has raised its adjusted earnings guidance for the full year.

Revenues for the quarter rose 5.5% to $6.3 billion, as the company benefited from a recovery in end-markets and high-single-digit adjusted EPS growth. President and CEO Rainer M. Blair noted that while customer project timing created some headwinds in bioprocessing, underlying order trends remained resilient, with bioprocessing orders growing in the mid-teens. The Life Sciences division specifically delivered its strongest quarterly results in several years.

Following the better-than-anticipated results, Danaher updated its full-year 2026 guidance, now projecting adjusted diluted net earnings per share in the range of $8.45 to $8.60. The company also announced plans to further expand its oncology footprint through the acquisition of StatLab, a manufacturer specializing in the histology workflow, which is expected to close by the end of the year. Investors can expect a continued focus on long-term growth as the company leverages the Danaher Business System to navigate ongoing market cycles.
