Natus Medical has integrated its autoSCORE artificial intelligence tool into the latest version of BRAIN QUICK software, bringing automated EEG analysis to clinicians across Europe and international markets following a successful rollout in the United States.

Cristiano Rizzo, general manager for Natus in EMEA and APAC, noted that the tool is designed to augment expertise without replacing the clinician, helping to streamline workflows in high-volume environments. Professor Oriano Mecarelli of Sapienza University of Rome compared the shift to the historical transition from analog to digital EEG, suggesting that such automation is essential for managing increasingly complex neurodiagnostic cases. Early European adopters of the BRAIN QUICK update have reported that the platform offers the reliability necessary for demanding tasks, including presurgical evaluations.
