The S&P Global assessment evaluates suppliers based on six metrics, including market share, manufacturing capacity, and sustainability. This year, the inclusion of a dedicated battery cell category highlighted the company’s expanding reach, with Envision AESC securing the designation. This recognition aligns with the firm’s broader strategy to integrate renewable generation with AI-driven infrastructure.
Envision Secures Tier 1 Status Across Three Clean Energy Pillars
For the second straight year, Shanghai-based Envision has earned a place on the S&P Global Tier 1 Cleantech Companies list. The firm achieved the rare distinction of being ranked as a top-tier supplier across wind turbines, energy storage systems, and battery cells, signaling its influence in the global energy transition.

Envision’s footprint now spans significant international projects, including a 300 MW wind farm in Nova Scotia developed with Cape Breton China Corp and an AI-powered prototype in Australia. By the end of 2025, the company had deployed 50 GWh of battery energy storage systems, maintaining a consistent presence in the BloombergNEF Tier 1 rankings. As the industry shifts toward intelligent energy grids, the company is scaling its manufacturing network across Asia, Europe, and North America to support both electric vehicle production and grid-scale storage.
