The expansion marks a strategic push to capture a growing demographic, as projections suggest the number of European ETF investors will surge from 30 million today to 100 million by 2035. By eliminating the typical execution fees that often erode small, recurring contributions, Mintos aims to lower the barrier for retail participants who previously faced disproportionate costs on smaller investments.
Mintos Eliminates ETF Fees to Capture Retail Market
With European investors pouring a record €330 billion into ETFs last year, Mintos is removing the financial friction of entry. The platform now offers over 1,000 UCITS-compliant funds with zero transaction or custody fees, allowing users to start building a diversified portfolio with as little as one euro.

The platform’s catalogue, developed in partnership with Upvest, features established issuers such as Vanguard, iShares, and VanEck. Users can choose between self-directed trading or the Mintos Core ETFs product—a pre-built, automatically rebalanced portfolio requiring a €50 minimum. This hybrid model allows investors to combine manual selection with automated management, with a recurring investment feature slated for release to further streamline long-term wealth building.
