The S&P Global assessment evaluates suppliers based on market leadership, manufacturing capacity, and financial sustainability. By securing Tier 1 status for both wind turbine and energy storage system supply, while adding a new designation for Envision AESC as a battery cell supplier, the company has solidified its position as an integrated energy provider. This breadth of recognition highlights the firm’s strategy of combining renewable generation with advanced battery technology and artificial intelligence.
Envision Secures Tier 1 Status Across Three Clean Energy Pillars
For the second consecutive year, Shanghai-based Envision has earned a place on the S&P Global Tier 1 Cleantech Companies list. The firm achieved top-tier recognition across three core technology sectors—wind turbines, energy storage, and battery cells—underscoring its growing influence in the global renewable infrastructure market.

Envision’s operational footprint continues to grow, with total wind installations now exceeding 100 GW worldwide. Recent projects demonstrate this expansion, including the deployment of an AI-powered wind turbine at the Nullagine Wind Farm in Australia and a 300 MW wind project with co-located storage in Nova Scotia. Simultaneously, the company’s energy storage division reached a milestone of 50 GWh in cumulative deployments by the end of 2025. Through these developments, the organization aims to scale infrastructure capable of delivering intelligent, low-cost energy on a global scale.
