Sony asserts that the identified tracks represent only a fraction of the total intellectual property allegedly infringed. The company is seeking an injunction to stop further unauthorized usage, along with statutory damages of up to $150,000 per work. Udio has previously acknowledged that its models were constructed by processing vast quantities of sound recordings, including data sourced from YouTube.
