Investment firm TJC has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Sunbelt Solomon from Trilantic North America, marking a shift in ownership for the Temple, Texas-based power solutions provider. The deal, which remains subject to regulatory approval, is expected to finalize during the third quarter of 2026.
For TJC, the acquisition aligns with current market pressures, including the rapid expansion of data centers and the broader necessity of grid modernization. Jim Sikorski, a principal at TJC, noted that the firm views Sunbelt Solomon as a key player in industrial reshoring and renewable energy integration. While the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, both parties indicated that the existing management team will continue to lead the company through this transition. Trilantic North America, which has overseen the firm's growth to date, expressed confidence in the company’s trajectory under its new ownership.
