St. Joseph Water Tank Gets a University-Branded Makeover
A 750,000-gallon water storage tank on Karnes Road is sporting a new look, featuring Missouri Western State University branding. Missouri American Water will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the site this Monday at 3:00 p.m. to celebrate the completion of the structure's refurbishment.
John Hontz, senior manager of Northwest Operations, noted that the painting was completed alongside necessary maintenance identified during a recent inspection. Located near Interstate 29, the tank serves as a highly visible landmark for both the utility’s service network and the university community.
