Wall Street traders will soon gain millisecond-level access to Donald Trump’s social media activity through a new licensed data feed. Trump Media announced the Truth API on Thursday, a service designed to pipe the platform’s most influential market-moving commentary directly to financial institutions starting August 1st.
Interim CEO Kevin McGurn confirmed the strategy, noting that market fluctuations already correlate with posts made on the platform. The service promises 24/7 delivery of content, including a historical archive dating back to 2022. With 12.9 million followers, Trump consistently uses the site to break news ahead of traditional channels, making the speed of the new API a potentially significant advantage for high-frequency traders.
