PAX Health Acquires New Jersey Independent Medical Examiner MAKRAF IME
Seventeen New Jersey counties now fall under the expanded reach of PAX Health, which finalized its acquisition of the psychology and neuropsychology group MAKRAF IME this July. The move consolidates a statewide network of specialists tasked with delivering objective medical-legal evaluations for insurance firms, state agencies, and legal counsel.
CEO Anthony DeSena noted that the acquisition aligns with the company’s push to scale high-quality medical-legal services across the region. MAKRAF IME co-founders Dr. Richard Filippone and Maryann Kezmarsky will transition their operations into the broader PAX Health network, maintaining established service standards while leveraging the parent company’s operational resources to accelerate growth.
