The new granola arrives as part of a trend toward food-first digestive care. Each serving delivers 9 grams of fiber and 5 grams of prebiotics, intended to fuel beneficial bacteria within the gut microbiome. The inclusion of gut-activated cultures is designed to ensure stability until reaching the digestive tract, where they contribute to microbiota diversity.
Stefanie Bryant, lead product development scientist at WK Kellogg Co., noted that the development process prioritized balancing nutrition with texture. The granola is available in two flavors: Blueberry Almond and Chocolate Almond Butter. Both varieties avoid artificial colors and flavors, adhering to the brand's non-GMO standards.
