The contract covers all six public junior high schools in the city, shifting operational burdens from teachers to private-sector management.
To ensure quality, the company requires every instructor to complete a 12-hour training program focused on coaching skills and emergency protocols, ranging from heatstroke prevention to severe weather response. Leifras, which currently supports 2,120 clubs across Japan, plans to use this project as a model for sustainable regional club development.
