The expansion follows a period of aggressive growth for the organization, which has opened three new stores over the past year. By revitalizing existing sites and securing new leases, Goodwill aims to meet the surging consumer interest in secondhand goods while simultaneously diverting waste from regional landfills. The Reisterstown Road site will operate Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with Sunday hours running from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Goodwill Industries Opens Fourth Baltimore Location at Reisterstown Plaza
A former Petco storefront at 6516 Reisterstown Road Plaza will find new life on July 23 as Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake opens its fourth Baltimore City location. The grand opening, scheduled for 10 a.m., marks the latest move in a broader strategy to bolster retail presence and local workforce development programs.

Lisa Rusyniak, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, described the new store as a community investment that fuels the organization's social mission. Revenue from the retail network directly finances job training, career coaching, and the Baltimore Excel Center, an adult high school program offering tuition-free diplomas and on-site childcare. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will feature remarks from leadership and invite public participation as the organization continues to scale its operations across the region.
