Dan Ives Partners with Yorkville Securities to Launch Merchant Bank
Technology analyst Dan Ives is pivoting from pure research to principal investment, joining forces with Yorkville Securities to launch Yorkville Ives & Co. The new merchant bank aims to capitalize on the current artificial intelligence boom by merging traditional advisory services with direct capital deployment and equity research under one roof.
Roger Briggs, CEO of the new entity, emphasized that the firm’s philosophy centers on long-term engagement. The platform will offer debt and equity capital raising, strategic M&A advisory, and institutional trading services. While the venture leverages the established infrastructure of Yorkville Advisors Global, it is currently awaiting FINRA approval to formally launch its comprehensive research division. The firm expects to finalize these regulatory requirements and begin full operations later this quarter.
