Aspiring science communicators have until July 15, 2026, to apply for a seat on a weightless flight departing from Bordeaux, France. The initiative, dubbed Take Off in Zero-G, aims to diversify the voices documenting space exploration by training creators from underrepresented regions to share their experiences with a global audience.
Candidates do not need prior expertise in the field, only a passion for sharing STEM and space-related stories. To apply, prospective communicators must submit an entry form and a public video answering three prompts regarding their motivations and the importance of space storytelling in their specific regions. Submissions must include the hashtag #TakeOffInZeroG and remain public throughout the selection cycle.
