With over two decades of experience navigating Texas’ most challenging ecological landscapes, Brian Halsell has joined the Dallas studio of TBG Partners as principal. His transition marks a strategic push for the firm to bolster its civic and mixed-use design portfolio by integrating specialized conservation expertise into large-scale urban development.

Beyond his professional portfolio, Halsell maintains an active presence in local environmental advocacy, volunteering with the Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center and the Friends of Oak Cliff Parks. His appointment is part of a broader expansion for the employee-owned firm, which currently employs over 130 design professionals across four Texas offices. TBG Partners President Bill Odle emphasized that this hire aligns with the company’s objective to scale its impact on complex, environmentally significant projects across the region.
