DraftKings Alumnus Ed Silva Named CEO of Sports Betting Platform DubClub

Silva brings a decade of experience from his tenure at DraftKings, where he rose to the role of VP of Product during the company's expansion into a market leader. His background also includes leadership positions at the live-learning platform Nerdy and various prediction-market startups. At DubClub, he is tasked with scaling the consumer experience to drive higher retention and engagement, capitalizing on momentum generated during the 2026 World Cup. During the tournament, the platform facilitated over 100,000 plays, with top-tier contributors reporting returns on investment exceeding 50 percent.

Following the leadership shuffle, co-founder Lewis Burik will transition to the role of President, overseeing platform monetization and revenue streams, while co-founder Andrew Daschbach remains as Head of Creator Success. The recent funding round, backed by existing investors Uncork Capital, Renegade Partners, and Will Ventures, will be directed toward accelerating the platform's product roadmap. Current features, including embedded odds comparison, in-app play tracking, and the recently launched Rewards Hub, are expected to be expanded under Silva’s direction to further solidify the platform's utility in the sports betting ecosystem.
