The membership, priced at $2,500 annually, aims to synthesize fragmented health information—ranging from wearable data and medical histories to deep biological testing—into a single, longitudinal care plan. Unlike conventional concierge services, the model emphasizes continuous oversight by board-certified physicians who utilize in-house clinical AI to interpret complex data, including DNA methylation analysis and over 140 blood biomarkers.
SONATA Debuts Preventive Health Membership in Three Major US Cities
With the launch of a new doctor-led healthcare membership, SONATA is targeting the disconnect between modern diagnostic data and actionable clinical guidance. The platform, now active in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, integrates whole-genome sequencing and proprietary AI to move beyond traditional, reactive medicine.

Co-founder and CEO Sagan Schultz notes that despite an abundance of personal health data, patients often struggle to translate information into preventative strategies. By combining genomic insights with ongoing physician-led monitoring, the company intends to shift the focus from population-based averages to individualized screening and treatment. The startup, backed by investors including Lux Capital and Box Group, is led by a team with backgrounds at companies like Linear, Ramp, and Flatiron Health, and plans to scale its operations beyond its three launch cities.
