While 53% of surveyed customers plan to shift to IFS Cloud within two years, the vast majority remain tethered to manual verification methods. Currently, 92% of these organizations rely on email chains and Excel spreadsheets to validate changes, with not a single respondent utilizing automated testing solutions.

This discrepancy creates a friction point during cloud upgrades, where the frequency of updates outpaces the capacity of manual oversight. Carl Andrews, CEO of Original Software, argues that traditional testing processes are ill-suited for the rapid cadence of modern ERP environments. By integrating its code-free, AI-led platform into the IFS ecosystem, the company intends to provide the security needed to manage frequent releases without compromising system stability or compliance.
