The agreement, which went live in June following a December 2025 signing, allows users to compare CoachRun routes alongside train and flight options. By incorporating this network, Omio bolsters its coverage of key transit lines, including the heavily traveled New York to Boston and New York to Washington, D.C. routes. This move follows a series of strategic expansions for the platform, which has recently added partners like Trailways and RedCoach to its U.S. inventory.
Omio Expands East Coast Bus Network Through CoachRun Partnership
Seventeen cities across eight U.S. states are now more accessible to travelers as Berlin-based booking platform Omio integrates budget operator CoachRun into its multimodal system. The partnership adds over 150 daily departures to the company's North American network, targeting high-demand corridors between major metropolitan hubs and university towns.

For CoachRun, the collaboration serves as a gateway to Omio’s international user base. Catherine Chen, COO of CoachRun, highlighted that the integration provides passengers with greater convenience, noting that the operator’s existing perks—such as complimentary rescheduling and seat selection—align with the platform's focus on flexibility. Veronica Diquattro, President of B2C and Supply at Omio, characterized the expansion as a vital step in scaling the company’s multimodal ecosystem to provide more value and choice to domestic and international travelers.
