The initiative targets the widening gap between clinical care and the strained resources of community shelters. By providing consistent financial injections, Virbac aims to support the daily operations of rescues and nonprofits that provide second chances for animals. Virbac Hits $500,000 Milestone in Animal Charity Support
Since launching the Every Pet Project, Virbac has funneled half a million dollars into animal welfare across the United States. By selecting two organizations each month for $2,500 grants, the program has reached 198 charities in 45 states, fueled by over 150,000 public nominations from pet owners and veterinary professionals.

To mark the $500,000 threshold, the company doubled its May donation amounts, awarding $5,000 each to Southern Comfort Animal Rescue in Tarrytown, Georgia, and BAGS Basset Rescue in Minerva, Ohio. Public nominations for future recipients remain open through the company’s digital portal, allowing community members to highlight organizations in need of funding.
