CyberNut Acquires Neptune Navigate to Scale K-12 Safety

CyberNut has acquired the Neptune Navigate digital citizenship platform, a move designed to consolidate staff cybersecurity training and student online safety under one provider. By absorbing the established curriculum, the Miami-based company aims to offer K-12 districts a unified approach to managing digital risks across entire school communities.

The deal, for which financial terms remain undisclosed, integrates Neptune Navigate’s student-focused resources into CyberNut’s existing cybersecurity suite. CyberNut currently provides phishing simulations and threat reporting for school personnel; the new acquisition adds a deep, purpose-built curriculum intended to foster digital confidence among students. This merger seeks to address the administrative burden on districts by placing both workforce security and student education within a single ecosystem.

CyberNut CEO Oliver Page emphasized that the acquisition represents a strategic push to protect the entire school community, rather than treating student and staff safety as separate silos. For the 2026–27 academic year, the company’s immediate priority is ensuring a seamless transition for existing Neptune Navigate partners. Looking further ahead, CyberNut plans to modernize the curriculum, introducing refreshed content and tighter technical integration between student-facing lessons and staff-side security awareness training. Neptune Navigate founder Eric Jontra stated that the transition ensures the longevity of their platform under a partner dedicated exclusively to the K-12 sector.
