The new center arrives during a period of heightened demand for behavioral health support throughout Arizona. By integrating both residential inpatient rehab and flexible outpatient options—including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs—the facility provides a continuum of care designed to bridge the gap between initial stabilization and long-term recovery.
Purpose Healing Center Expands Tucson Rehab Access via AHCCCS
Tucson residents grappling with addiction and mental health challenges have gained a new local resource as Purpose Healing Center opens its doors on Silverbell Road. The facility distinguishes itself by accepting Arizona Medicaid, or AHCCCS, aiming to widen the reach of accredited inpatient and outpatient care across Pima County.

"Our programs are not only duly accredited by AZDHS and the Joint Commission; we also make it our mission to provide effective treatment for all residents in need in Tucson, Pima County, and across the state by accepting AHCCCS and most insurances in-network," said Marcus Weisbly, Director of Business Development at Purpose Healing Center. The move aims to bolster regional infrastructure, ensuring that high-quality clinical support remains attainable for a broader segment of the community.
