Optiv + ClearShark Secures Prime Spot on NASA’s SEWP VI Contract
A new procurement vehicle at NASA is set to accelerate federal technology adoption, as Optiv + ClearShark secures a prime contract under the SEWP VI program. The designation allows agencies to bypass traditional acquisition hurdles to tap into the firm’s specialized cybersecurity, AI, and cloud infrastructure services.

Daniel Wilbricht, president of Optiv + ClearShark, noted that the contract removes friction for agencies struggling to balance modernization with security mandates. The firm, which operates as a subsidiary of the global cybersecurity provider Optiv, focuses exclusively on federal requirements. This contract vehicle serves as an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) mechanism, designed to ensure that mission-critical infrastructure remains resilient against evolving digital risks.
