CollegeSource has unveiled the recipients of its eighth annual Sourcie Awards, honoring the higher education professionals and institutions that have leveraged technology to dismantle barriers in student mobility. The accolades recognize those who have successfully transformed transfer pathways and degree planning into more transparent, student-centered academic journeys.

CollegeSource Names 2026 Sourcie Award Winners

The 2026 honors highlight specific contributions to the evolution of academic advising and credit evaluation. Jack Southard received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his foundational work on the Degree Audit Reporting System, a precursor to modern tools like uAchieve. The University of Colorado System earned the Exceptional Implementation Effort award for its pioneering move to the 5.2 Planner solution, while Rachel Aldrich of Fox Valley Technical College was recognized for her leadership in fostering statewide transfer collaboration across Wisconsin.

Additional awards focused on institutional partnerships and data integrity. The University of Northern Colorado and Laramie County Community College were honored for their cross-state efforts to clarify transfer pathways using Transferology. Benedictine College Registrar Charles Peitsch received recognition for his commitment to data quality and proactive use of transfer evaluation tools.
