The software, which overlays existing computed tomography systems, automatically identifies restricted objects to assist human operators. By accelerating checkpoint throughput without requiring additional personnel, the system addresses the logistical strain of sustained peak passenger volumes. This latest certification complements the company's existing ECAC APIDS approval for both Analogic and Rapiscan platforms, positioning the firm for widespread deployment across U.S. and European aviation hubs.
SeeTrue AI Secures TSA Certification Ahead of World Cup Surge
Thousands of travelers descending on FIFA World Cup host cities are passing through checkpoints bolstered by artificial intelligence. SeeTrue, a security software developer, confirmed its prohibited item detection tool has earned TSA certification for integration with Analogic ConneCT scanners, marking a significant shift in airport screening automation.

Implementation efforts reached a critical phase ahead of the tournament’s June 11 kickoff, with systems installed at various TSA PreCheck lanes in host cities. The rollout began earlier this year at Indianapolis International Airport during the Indianapolis 500. According to Assaf Frenkel, co-founder and CEO of SeeTrue, the technology is designed to manage high-volume, time-sensitive environments where error margins remain non-existent. The company, which maintains offices in New York, Tel Aviv, London, and Amsterdam, aims to provide a production-grade solution for airports managing the surge of global sports fans.
