Citrin Cooperman Expands New England Footprint with LGA Acquisition
Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC has acquired substantially all assets of the Boston-based accounting firm LGA, LLP, a move that adds 150 professionals to the company’s regional headcount. The deal bolsters Citrin Cooperman’s capacity to serve middle-market clients while integrating LGA’s advisory-led operations into its national network.

LGA Managing Partner John Geraci noted that the partnership was solidified by long-standing professional ties in the Boston area, specifically citing years of collaboration with Citrin Cooperman leadership. For LGA, the transition offers access to expanded resources and AI-driven technological infrastructure. Citrin Cooperman CEO Alan Badey emphasized that the cultural alignment between the two firms regarding employee development and client trust served as the primary driver for the deal. This expansion marks another growth milestone for Citrin Cooperman, which currently employs more than 3,300 professionals across the United States.
