Matt Rodliff to Lead Claims for AXA XL in the Americas
Matt Rodliff will take over as Chief Claims Officer for AXA XL in the Americas starting July 13, stepping into the role held by the retiring Jim DiVirgilio. Based in Boston, Rodliff arrives from Liberty Mutual to manage the firm's claims strategy, technical operations, and regional growth initiatives.

His predecessor, Jim DiVirgilio, concludes an 18-year career at the insurer. To ensure continuity, DiVirgilio remains in an advisory capacity through the end of 2026. Before joining AXA XL, Rodliff served as Vice President of Specialized Claims at Liberty Mutual, where he led multi-line teams and focused on improving customer experience metrics.
