MDJM Expands Into Supply Chain With Mirai Acquisition

By securing a controlling stake in the Japanese firm Kabushiki Kaisha Mirai on June 28, 2026, MDJM Ltd. is moving to bridge the gap between animation IP and physical retail. The deal provides the company with an established logistics network spanning more than 20 countries across Asia, Europe, and North America.

MDJM Expands Into Supply Chain With Mirai Acquisition

Siping Xu, Chief Executive Officer of MDJM, described the acquisition as a practical platform to shift cultural assets from content creation toward product execution and international channel development. Mirai traditionally operates as a supplier of consumer electronics and drugstore goods to enterprise-level distributors, a infrastructure MDJM intends to leverage for its own brand and animation-based consumer products.

Integrating Mirai into the MDJM ecosystem allows the parent company to control procurement coordination and supply chain execution directly. The strategy focuses on converting original animation IP into marketable SKUs, aiming to establish a commercial pipeline that reaches global markets. By utilizing Mirai’s existing distribution network, MDJM expects to accelerate the monetization of its cultural business platform, MD Local Global Ltd., moving away from purely digital initiatives toward physical product deployment.
