BenQ Launches PD2732U Monitor for Color-Critical Workflows

The PD2732U arrives at a time when creative professionals frequently toggle between disparate media formats, often requiring a single display that handles Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, and sRGB color spaces with equal reliability. To meet these demands, BenQ has integrated its AQCOLOR technology, which provides factory-calibrated accuracy—achieving an average Delta E of less than 2—and corner-to-corner uniformity correction to prevent brightness or color shifts across the panel.

Beyond raw color performance, the monitor is built for modern studio integration. It features Thunderbolt 4 connectivity for simplified cable management, alongside specialized tools like Smart KVM and M-book mode, which aligns color output specifically for Mac users. These features allow creators to move between multiple workstations and devices without sacrificing visual consistency. The unit also carries Calman and Pantone validations, providing independent verification for industry-standard color reproduction.

Jeffrey Hsieh, Director of the Consumer Line of Business at BenQ, noted that the monitor is designed to ensure that color decisions made during the creative process translate accurately into final outputs. To support ongoing maintenance, the company is introducing the AQCOLOR Pilot software in August, which manages hardware and software calibration for long-term consistency. The PD2732U is currently available for pre-order at $699, with broader retail availability scheduled for late summer and early autumn.
