Trescal Expands Calibration Network for UK and Irish Aerospace
With the acquisition of Facility Monitoring Systems Ltd and four Irish specialist laboratories, Trescal is scaling its technical footprint to support the rigorous demands of the aerospace and defense sectors. The move aims to shorten turnaround times for Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs operating under strict international compliance standards.
In Ireland, the addition of Multiplex Engineering and Butler Technologies bolsters the company’s ability to handle RF and microwave calibration, essential for avionics and radar systems. Karolina Lachi-kolarova, General Manager of Trescal UK, characterized the expansion as a push to provide a single-source solution for operational readiness in highly regulated markets. The company plans to showcase these combined capabilities at the upcoming Farnborough International Airshow, where its technical teams will engage with industry partners on manufacturing compliance.
