Apple Prepares Entry-Level MacBook Pro Overhaul for 2027

The upcoming refresh follows a period of incremental updates, including the October integration of the M5 chip. While the design remains static for a secondary variant scheduled to arrive later this year, the 2027 model is expected to integrate more substantial hardware changes. Development cycles are already pushing toward the M7 processor line, which will introduce new Pro and Max configurations to the portable lineup.

Beyond the laptop segment, the company is testing four new iPad Pro models. These iterations, expected to arrive this spring, focus primarily on internal architecture improvements while maintaining the established 11-inch and 13-inch display sizes.
