The project, dubbed Flavor 52, moves away from predictable seasonal offerings by introducing a new blend every Monday. To manage this aggressive schedule, the company has organized the releases into six distinct thematic seasons, ranging from the nostalgia-focused Throwback Collection to the concluding Finale. The initiative will culminate at the 2027 Summer Fancy Food Show, where the final flavor is set to debut.
Java Factory Launches Year-Long 52-Flavor Coffee Campaign
South Plainfield-based Java Factory is betting on drop culture to redefine flavored coffee, committing to a record-breaking initiative that delivers 52 unique coffee flavors over 52 consecutive weeks. The campaign, which launched July 1, aims to secure a Guinness World Record for the most flavors released by a brand in one year.

Java Factory is leaning heavily on its partnership with Flavor & Fragrance Specialties (FFS), a division of Lucta, to ensure each release functions as a sensory experience rather than a mere novelty. According to Sam Blaney, Executive Vice President of Java Factory, the company intends to transition flavored coffee from a routine grocery purchase into an ongoing event centered on consumer discovery and shared moments. Customers can access the rotating catalog through full-year or seasonal subscriptions on the company’s website, supported by a marketing strategy that includes social media activations and potential licensing collaborations with national brands.
