Hub International Recruits Actuary Samuel Garvey for Analytics Expansion
Samuel Garvey, a seasoned actuary and insurtech strategist, has joined Hub International to spearhead the brokerage’s commercial lines analytics practice across North America. Based in Denver, Garvey will oversee the development of proprietary risk modeling tools designed to sharpen client advisory services and reduce total cost of risk.
Previously serving as Vice President of Analytics at an independent brokerage, Garvey led the development of next-generation commercial insurtech platforms. His career includes tenure at a global reinsurance advisor and leadership in surplus lines pricing strategies. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he achieved his Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society in late 2024. He will now work to integrate these technical capabilities into Hub’s broader commercial and alternative risk operations.
