Alfonso Ribeiro to Host 250th Anniversary A Capitol Fourth Celebration
Television personality Alfonso Ribeiro will headline the 46th annual A Capitol Fourth on July 3, 2026, marking the start of the nation’s 250th birthday weekend. The live broadcast from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol will feature a massive fireworks display at Mount Vernon and tributes to American milestones.
Musical headliners include Chicago, Patti LaBelle, Trace Adkins, and Kool & The Gang. The National Symphony Orchestra, directed by Jack Everly, will provide the score for the event, which also includes a segment honoring the Artemis II crew, presented by Gary Sinise. Additional highlights feature a salute to Team USA Olympic athletes and a performance of the 1812 Overture, complete with live cannon fire from the U.S. Army Presidential Salute Battery.
