Chip City Marks US 250th Anniversary With July Cookie Discount

To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, New York-based bakery Chip City is slashing prices on its signature treats throughout July. Customers spending at least $10 at any of the brand’s 39 locations can purchase two Chewie cookies for $2.50, a discount of nearly 65 percent.

The promotion covers all regional outposts from New York to Texas, including spots in New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Virginia. CEO Fred LeFranc noted that the initiative aims to make the milestone celebration accessible to the brand's expansive customer base. Typically retailing for $3.50 each, the thin, soft cookies are available via in-store visits, the company's mobile app, or their web ordering platform.

Since its 2017 inception in New York City, Chip City has transitioned from a local storefront into a rapidly scaling chain defined by its rotating menu. The offer remains active through July 31, 2026, allowing patrons to secure the discounted sweets while supplies last during the month-long anniversary festivities.
